GarageBand is based on technology from Logic Pro, its industry–standard music– making bigger brother, and Logic can open GarageBand project files if you are stepping up to the bigger app. Made for Mac only, Logic Pro is heavily optimized for Macs, especially those boasting the latest Apple silicon, which is important when you start to run big projects.
