> NEW STREAMING OPTIONS
Apple has introduced new options worldwide for how apps can deliver in– app experiences including streaming games and mini–apps, mini–games, chatbots, and plug–ins within a single app. Additionally, for the first time, all these can incorporate Apple’s IAPs to offer paid content or services, such as a subscription for an individual chatbot. Plus, developers who offer third–party or social login services within an app can now optionally offer Sign In with Apple.

For the 17th year running, Apple has topped Fortune’s list of most admired companies. Microsoft came second. In Fortune’s annual poll of more than 3,700 executives, directors, and analysts, Apple ranked first in social responsibility, financial soundness, innovation, and global competitiveness. Amazon, second last year, fell to third overall this year but scored top marks in internet services and retail.

Apple Card users earned more than $1bn in Daily Cash from spending on Apple Card in 2023, Apple has disclosed. Five years on from its introduction in 2019, there are now 12 million Apple Card users. More than 1 million users share Apple Card with their Family Sharing Group through Apple Card Family, introduced in 2021.
