EXIF DATA
The EXIF is text embedded into your image file that can give a lot of detail about it. Cameras insert their make, model, and lens information, as well as the time and date of capture, shooting settings, and GPS co-ordinates into the EXIF, and many apps can read and add to this. It’s useful for asserting your copyright, embedding your name into the image file, and many photographers use it to caption their images, or add usage instructions, knowing picture editors will look at the EXIF for details about the scene, and the names of anyone in the picture if the photographer asked them. To find it in Photoshop, look at “File > File Info.”
