In ad­di­tion to the “srm” com­mand in the nuke script, which se­curely erases the home folder, you may have no­ticed that there are two other com­mands: “sfill” and “smem.” Re­move the # at the start of th­ese lines to over­write the free space in the / home folder, and clean any files in the Pi’s vir­tual mem­ory (RAM) re­spec­tively. This takes much longer than the “srm” com­mand on its own, but is a good deal safer.
