AND THERE YOU GO: one updated, cleaned-out system. We took some isopropyl alcohol to the soft-touch finish in an attempt to try to remove some of the grime and damage from the chassis, but there’s only so much you can do with a case this old, unfortunately. And don’t worry about that old quad-core Extreme Edition chip—it will be going off to work in a new home in our IT department, happily sauntering on toward retirement.
