Ryzen’s infinity fabric interconnect (the stuff that connects the core complexes in the die) runs at the same speed as the memory. Ryzen 3rd gen typically disconnects after 3600 MT/s, but as our Ryzen 5 3400G is running on the old 2nd-gen architecture, it’s not quite as quick, and only sees benefits up to 3200 MT/s. For our Intel solution, you’ll have to opt for slower memory, as the ASRock B365M-HDV is only rated to support up to 2666 MT/s.
