TONI CHILDS
THEATRE ROYAL, TOMORROW, 7.30PM Embark on an emotional ride steered by the outstanding vocals of legendary singer Toni Childs. As well as performing material from her latest albums, It’s All a Beautiful Noise and A Citizen of the Planet, Childs will surprise with key songs from her extensive career. SARAH BLASKO
THEATRE ROYAL, WEDNESDAY, 8PM This is Sarah Blasko as you’ve likely never heard her: solo and without a band. In this tour, she will lay bare her songwriting, using only her voice and the power of her lyrics to captivate her audience. This will be her only Tasmanian appearance in her The Soloist tour, in which she’ll be re-imagining material from her previous albums and showcasing new songs from her sixth album. Tickets are $55.
SPEEDMOUSE, BY THE UMBILICAL BROTHERS
THEATRE ROYAL, NEXT SATURDAY, 8PM This is a live-action, fast-paced, rewind, slow-motion, frame-by-frame adventure performed by the Umbilical Brothers.
