SCHWEPPES ARENA, ULVERSTONE, FRIDAY AND NEXT SATURDAY This two-day astronomy festival is packed with fascinatin­g talks and workshops for sky-watching buffs, as well as an array of interestin­g and interactiv­e sessions for kids. REPUBLIC BAR, NORTH HOBART THURSDAY, FROM 6-7.30PM The topic of this month’s Science in the Pub series is “Fake News is Fake News”. Panellists Christophe­r Lueg, Claire Konkes and Michael Charleston from UTAS and Jon Manning from Secret Lab will discuss their experience with the topic.
