MOONAH ARTS CENTRE, UNTIL SEPTEMBER 16 This free exhibition details the work of three contempora­ry Tasmanian artists with national and internatio­nal standing in the medium of printmakin­g: Milan Milojevic, Dr Yvonne Rees-Pagh and Jennifer Marshall. The artists explore the qualities of printmakin­g through political, historical and fictional themes, using techniques from the traditiona­l to the digital. It showcases the artists’ diverse approaches to the medium, from their individual series of works to one large collaborat­ive piece bringing together a range of printmakin­g media. DIARY OF A WOMBAT

THEATRE ROYAL, MONDAY TO WEDNESDAY, 5.30PM This classic Australian children’s story by Jackie French comes to life on stage for three shows next week. Meet Mothball, a large puppet version of the lovable wombat illustrate­d by Bruce Whatley. Young children will delight as Mothball’s adventures and misadventu­res over the course of his infamous week are played out on stage by puppeteers Sam Hickey and Mike Cullen, and accompanie­d by a live cellist.
