LINDA BULL

-

I was happiest when … swimming with the whales in Tonga with my family and friends. You wouldn’t know it but … I’m quite handy around the home. I can fix things! My most embarrassing moment … I am very clumsy and fall over a lot. I’ve fallen on stage and off stage during performances. Always in public places. It’s awful. The last time I cried was … delivering a speech on International Women’s Day. The last book I read was … Tina Turner’s autobiography called My Love Story. My favourite films are … Nacho Libre or anything with Jack Black. really want to … take up painting again, learn an instrument and another language like Spanish. My guilty pleasure is … buying vintage dresses and jumpsuits from the ‘70s. Life has taught me … a smile goes a long way. I’m about to … make an album with my sister Vika. Our first in 18 years. My first job was … serving customers and taking orders at McDonald’s. My most memorable work-related moment is … singing for, and then meeting, Nelson Mandela and Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter. What I enjoy most about my work is … it is unpredictable and I get to sing for — and with — beautiful people in beautiful places like Tasmania.
