WHAT WE LIKED Spacious, stylish cabin with comfortable seats. More driving position adjustability than most rivals. Easy to use control layout and seamless Bluetooth. Unbeatable quality, durability and reliability. High resale values. Low running costs. Unstressed, tractable, frugal engines. Capable offroad. Safe and solid.

WHAT WE DIDN’T Uncomfortable ride — you’re tossed around in your seat on rough roads, where the back end can also become nervous. Vague steering. Engines don’t quite have the mid-range grunt or refinement of some rivals. No driver assist safety tech. Short warranty and service intervals.
