Lazarus registers political party

RUGBY league giant Glenn Lazarus may no longer be on the field, but he’s registered a team.

Senator Lazarus’s political party, the Glenn Lazarus Team, has been formally registered with the Australian Electoral Commission.

The former Palmer United Party senator said he would set up a regional office in Cairns, seek to build a membership base and identify potential candidates for the federal election next year.
