HAS anyone else not received their complimentary gas mask from their local council for wood heater smoke pollution? I thought it’s the least they can do considering it’s such a neglected but serious health issue.

I AM at a loss to understand how an unfunded superannuation fund like the Retirement Benefits Fund can win the Small Fund of the Year award. It is concerning to me that the RBF is in negotiations with Tasplan regarding amalgamation. Would Tasplan members be at risk of having their funds spent by the State Government as RBF funds were spent?

HOW embarrassing that the Tasmanian Government requested permission to log and mine World Heritage areas. Tourists come to see World Heritage areas, not devastation.

I SYMPATHISE with the Greeks and their monetary system situation. What is happening now is nothing new. One has only to read history books and watch TV to see what was happening 3000 years ago. One can’t go on borrowing money and not pay it back. It would be great if we could.
