Funeral home owner charges

THE owner of a now closed funeral home in the North-West has been bailed to plead to numerous fraud-related offences in April.

Scott Allan Dickey appeared in the Devonport Magistrate’s Court yesterday charged with forgery, uttering, 27 counts of stealing (by misappropriation) and 28 counts of failing to deposit prepaid funeral payment within 14 days

Mr Dickey bought Kentish Funerals in 2011. He will reappear in court to plead to the charges on April 28.
