Menzies study into sore knees
THE Menzies Institute for Medical Research is calling for volunteers for a knee pain study. Volunteers aged at least 40 years and who have significant knee pain and knee swelling on most days are being asked to consider taking part in the institute’s clinical trial for osteoarthritis of the knee.
Participants will be required to have a MRI scan.
People interested in taking part can contact trial co-ordinator Carole Goff by phoning 6226 4648 on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, or emailing carole.goff@utas.edu.au
The National Health and Medical Research Council is funding the study.
