Aussie workers under risky pressure
ALMOST half of Australian workers have agreed to do unsafe tasks at work, a national survey has found.
The survey of 1000 people, commissioned by law firm Slat- er and Gordon, found younger workers 25 to 34 were most likely to do risky tasks, over half admitting to unsafe work compared with 42 per cent overall.
Workers compensation lawyer Meghan Hoare said workers were still being put in situations of serious risk.
A third had performed risky tasks under pressure from their bosses, the study found.
