Motorised BMX rider critical after crash with ute

A MOTORISED pushbike rider was last night in a critical but stable condition with chest, head and spinal injuries in the Royal Hobart Hospital after a crash in New Norfolk. Tasmania Police said the crash, involving a homemade motorised BMX bike and a Holden ute, happened about 6pm yesterday at the intersection of Blair and Charlotte streets.
