Tarkine mine fight dismissed

A CONSERVATION group has lost its appeal against a former resources minister’s approval of mining leases in the Tarkine.

In the Supreme Court in Hobart yesterday, Justice Stephen Estcourt dismissed Save the Tarkine’s judicial review application relating to the Livingstone and Mt Lindsay mine leases near Tullah.
