AUSTRALIA is unlikely to play any Test matches against Ireland or Afghanistan in the next five years and when it does they will probably be one-off games at home. The two newest Test-playing nations were given full member status in a historic move by the International Cricket Council yesterday. But neither is expected to be included in a reworked Test league being proposed by the ICC which would see the top nine nations play home-and-away series against each other over a four-year period.
