PM should channel Will, Croome says

POLICE have appealed for public help to find a 70-year-old woman missing from her North Hobart home since Monday night.

Tasmania Police said family members of Frieda Beukenkamp PRIME Minister Malcolm Turnbull needs to take a leaf out of Will Hodgman’s book to settle the bunfight in the Liberal party over same-sex marriage, Tasmanian campaigner Rodney Croome says.

“The Tasmanian state Liberals have shown the way forward on marriage equality with [Premier] Will Hodgman allowing a free vote on the issue,” the Tasmanian Gay and Lesbian Rights Group spokesman said.

“This has meant Liberals for and against marriage are able to have their say without the issue degenerati­ng into a bunfight ... If Will Hodgman can show this kind of leadership on marriage equality, why not Malcolm Turnbull?”
