They lost momentum when DeMarchi needed surgery on her vocal cords and eventually disbanded in early 1996, before re-forming in 2007. They are currently writing a new album.

and These days, frontman Dave Gleeson leads a revitalise­d band featuring longtime member Paul Woseen on bass, Scott Kingman and Jimi “The Human” Hocking on guitar, and Mickl Sayers on drums. Their latest record, was named album of the year by magazine.

“We first shared a shared a stage with the Baby Animals about 25 years ago, and we’ve all done a lot of miles since then,” Gleeson says.

“There’s always been a lot of mutual respect and musical admiration between the two bands. We’re all pumped to be part of what’s going to be a huge event in live music.”
