Traffic solutions

-

John Solomon Taroona A TALKING Point article by Chris Merridew (Mercury, March 2) outlined a proposal to incorporate an underground carpark and public transport hub beneath the STEM complex. The idea includes moving some Metro departure points to the STEM complex and redirecting northern and eastern Metro routes away from the CBD. Regional buses could terminate at the new interchange. Traffic currently moving through the city centre towards Sandy Bay will now bypass it altogether.
