Lord Mayor Sue Hickey will open the day’s events at 11am by encouraging shoppers to make the most of the oneday extravaganza.

“Super Sidewalk Saturday will be a great day for families, and shoppers will be able to shop for bargains and discover some of newer stores in the city centre,” Ald Hickey said.

“The city will be buzzing with activity so I encourage people to come in to the city and support our local traders and businesses while grabbing themselves a bargain.”

Aside from taking advantage of the shopping, sales and promotions, there will be plenty to see and do around town.

An exciting highlight for the kids will include two performances, as well as a meet and greet session, by characters from ABC television’s Octonauts.
