Carbon selloff

PRIVATE health insurer Medibank Private is to reduce its investments in carbon-intensive industries in recognition of the adverse impacts of climate change. The company has already removed tobacco stocks from its portfolio and chairwoman Elizabeth Alexander said it had now begun a process to reduce its exposure to carbon intensive assets.
