Nadal fitness doubt

-

RAFAEL Nadal is racing the clock to be fit for the Australian Open after abandoning the ATP Finals with a knee injury. The tennis world No.1 withdrew from the season-ending showpiece after a painful 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (4-7), 6-4 firstup loss to Belgian Davis Cup hero David Goffin in London. Nadal had already been in doubt for the event after pulling out of last week’s Paris Masters and first complaining of the injury after his Shanghai Masters finals loss to Roger Federer a month ago.
