New Spacey accusation
KEVIN Spacey is being investigated by British police over a second alleged sex assault in the UK.
The Metropolitan Police said the allegation dated to 2005 where a man claimed he was assaulted in Lambeth, South London.
Scotland Yard previously launched an investigation after an actor claimed he woke up to Spacey performing a sex act on him when he was aged 23.
It is understood the complainant had asked the former House of Cards star to help with his career in 2008.
A Met Police spokesman said: “On Wednesday, November 1, City of London Police referred an allegation of sexual assault to the Metropolitan Police Service. “It is alleged a man assaulted another man [Victim 1] in 2008 in Lambeth. “On Friday, November 17, a further allegation was made about the same man.
“The allegations are of sexual assaults against a man [Victim 2] in 2005 in Lambeth.
“Officers from the Child Abuse and Sexual Offences Command are investigating.”
Twenty people have come forward to accuse Spacey of sexual harassment in his time at The Old Vic theatre in London.
Sixteen members of staff and four others made allegations against the 58-year-old between 1995 and 2013.
Spacey started performing at The Old Vic in the 1990s and served as artistic director from 2004 to 2015.
The dual Oscar-winner has also been accused of sexually harassing American TV star Anthony Rapp when he was 14 and Spacey was 26.
He said Spacey had laid down on top of him, adding in an interview with BuzzFeed News: “I was aware that he was trying to get with me sexually.”
Netflix has since axed his political thriller House of Cards and Ridley Scott cut him from his latest film.
