city but found it not welcoming. We did a tour using a local operator who before driving off the wharf informed us we would not be going to Mt Wellington as due to cloud it was not worth it. Other tours got great photos. We were told we would have an hour at Richmond and lunch there. We got 25 minutes including lunch. We opted to spend money in the shops and miss lunch. We looked at Salamanca Markets but they were not on, even with 8000 people on the doorstep. We looked in the shops, very good ones too. We were going to get lunch at 3pm. Much better than other risk-free returns generally available. So go to it, asset-tested pensioners. Spend up on those holidays etc. You can have your cake and eat it too. HERE we go again. Cigarette barons told political parties if they banned tobacco advertising they would withdraw political donations. Sounds all too familiar.
