PROCUREMENT AND CONTRACTS OFFICER
The Procurement and Contracts Officer is responsible for facilitating Council’s tendering and procurement processes and providing advice and assistance to internal and external stakeholders. It will also support the activities of the Central Procurement Team through contributing to the continual improvement, efficiency and effectiveness of the section. The successful candidate will hold a Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration coupled with some practical experience or; significant relevant experience in tendering and contracting activities. The successful candidate will also have a knowledge of, or the ability to acquire, the legislative and legal framework of Local Government procurement including maintaining probity across processes.
