Not landscapes to me

I MET someone I hadn’t seen for ages and she thought John Glover would be turning in his grave if he saw what was hung on the walls for the Glover Exhibition! There were some which we could see what they were about. including people’s choice, but as for the others. If the committee had 420 to choose from, why did they pick so many that were crappy? There was one which was a very dubious colour and looked as if it had dog biscuit ends. Where was the landscape in that? Even the rabbits would have been hard put to recognise their home. Let’s hope that next year we have paintings that are worth paying to see.
