Play harder on pay rise

JUST how gullible are they by allowing the Federal-Farrell syndicate to use them on camera as a group to protect their pubs and clubs’ poker machine monopoly when the smart thing to do would have been to withhold their support until after the pay rise was granted. NBN very slow

IT is great news to see that the NBN rollout for Tasmania is nearly completed ( Mercury, April 17). Perhaps they will then commence remediatio­n on poorly designed parts of the network such as in Acton Park where some customers fall very short of Malcolm Turnbull’s promise of 25Mb/s. After being notified by the ISP that NBN simply can’t provide the minimum speeds, there is no end in sight to the buck passing. Jason Corney Acton Park
