Arbitration in Basslink case

THE State Government has referred its dispute with Basslink over the 2015 outage to arbitration after dispute resolution meetings failed.

Basslink said it was notified of the Government’s decision to refer the matter to arbitration yesterday. Basslink maintained there was no proper basis for the Government’s claims and the company would “vigorously defend itself”.
