Yesterday morning at New Norfolk, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor Kate Warner, accompanied by Mr Warner, officially opened the 30th anniversary exhibition of the New Norfolk Historical Information Centre. In the evening at Government House, the Governor and Mr Warner hosted a performance of ‘The Mountain’ by the Crescendo Choir. Later at the Brighton Civic Centre, the Governor presided at the 2018 Annual General Meeting of Scouts Australia – Tasmanian Branch and presented life memberships and service awards to this year’s recipients.
