INCAT will not be building the proposed new Bruny Island ferry. Incat believes to tender would not be in the best interest of the company nor would it be in the best interest of the Bruny Island population and island visitors. Incat did propose to build, for an operator, two larger, faster, state-ofthe-art vessels that would auto dock at two new terminals. Freedom of speech

AS one of 55,000 motorbiker­s in Tasmania, I think it is ridiculous for government to dictate what we can and cannot wear. I am a member of a social riding group and I know I won’t be targeted by police. However my father and grandfathe­r were involved in World War I and World War II to protect our freedom of speech. More crimes are committed by people wearing hoodies than patched jackets. Will hoodies be banned? I could go on but I think most thinking persons get the idea.
