Yesterday morning at Soldiers’ Memorial Oval, Queen’s Domain, the Lieutenant Governor of Tasmania, the Honourable Justice Alan Blow, accompanie­d by Mrs Blow, delivered an address at a ceremony to mark the centenary of Soldiers’ Memorial Avenue. In the afternoon at Government House, the Lieutenant Governor received Commander Anita Sellick, Commanding Officer of HMAS Newcastle, together with Commander Robert Curtis, Commanding Officer of Navy Headquarte­rs Tasmania.
