VICE-REGAL

Yesterday morning the Ambassador of Austria, His Excellency Dr Bernhard Zimburg, departed Government House. Later at the Tasmania Police Academy, Rokeby, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, placed a wreath and delivered the address to commemorate National Police Remembrance Day. In the afternoon at Government House, the Governor received the President and Clerk of the Legislative Council, who presented a Bill for the Royal Assent. In the evening the Governor, together with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Her Excellency Dr Anna Prinz, hosted a performance by “The Petticoat Girls” as part of the program of events of Art Circle Residence 2018.
