Bell tolls for democracy

- Peter Harrison Allens Rivulet Johnny Koay Mt Nelson Kenn Batt Cradoc

DON’T ask for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for the Tasmanian democracy (Editorial, October 19). Journalists and photographers are to be banned from reporting or even photographing MPs who are not on their feet. Power and madness have married! Gentle reader, we the public have a right to know what some of these overpaid, pretentious pretenders are up to. What has Mal’s correct decision (as he had already retired from the political arena) got to do with his nous, integrity, vast knowledge and experience, which will be a great loss, by not allowing him to represent Australia in such conferences?

Is ScoMo the truly type of man we want for a PM — a “He is the boss” hollow declaration, when he was sucking up to Mal when Mal was still our PM? Trust him? You decide!
