Star-studded line-up is falling into place nicely

-

THE line-up for this summer’s Falls Festival is reaching dizzying heights, with British grime king Dizzee Rascal and Chicago-based rapper Juice WRLD among a string of new acts announced.

They will be joined by former MS MR frontwoman LPX at all Falls stops, while Marion Bay will also be treated to sets from Cut Copy, Hayden James, Ziggy Alberts and Amyl & the Sniffers.

Dizzee Rascal, who is renowned for party-starting hits such as Bonkers and Holiday, released his sixth album, Raskit, last year.

Juice WRLD’s latest album, WRLD On Drugs, dropped on Friday, five months after the 19-year-old put out his full-length debut, Goodbye & Good Riddance.

The newcomers join the likes of Grammy-nominated Californian rapper and drummer Anderson .Paak and his band The Free Nationals, British rockers and festival favourites Catfish and the Bottlemen, and Scottish synth-pop trio Chvrches.

Veteran Los Angeles rockers Toto will perform classics such as Hold the Line, Rosanna and their 1982 smash hit Africa, which topped the US charts and has been a staple of pop culture ever since.

Other acts on the line-up include Australian stars Amy Shark, Vance Joy, Hilltop Hoods, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, DMA’s, Briggs and Tkay Maidza.
