ready providing a significant benefit to the Tasman Peninsula, will continue to grow in importance. Since the opening of the Three Capes Track, we have seen an increase in visitor nights spent on the Tasman Peninsula.

From anecdotal evidence there are a significant number of people arriving for a few days R&R prior to the Three Capes Walk or staying afterwards. Parks Tasmania figures of more than 6000 bed nights support this view. The walk has begun to deliver for local businesses. However, the development of visitor attractions continues as a priority and we will be working with local entrepreneurs to grow tourism spend and overnight visitation. should be a privilege, not a right. Not in a world with nearly 8 billion people already struggling to live on it in peace and harmony — with each other and with nature. I WENT to the Royal Hobart Hospital for a day surgery procedure. From the moment I arrived at the reception area at 7am I was greeted with a warm and pleasant greeting from the lovely reception staff. The registered nurses were absolutely fantastic with nothing but friendly, cheerful personalities. Despite being a very hectic morning they made me feel like a very appreciated patient. A big thanks to the specialists who did my procedure, they were really nice guys and made me feel at ease. These health professionals deserve a pay rise for the great work they do.
