On Saturday morning at the Dechaineux Theatre, University of Tasmania School of Art, the Governor of Tasmania, Professor the Honourable Kate Warner, accompanie­d by Mr Warner, delivered an address to officially open the National Maritime Museum Internatio­nal Wooden Boat Symposium. On Sunday at Elwick Racecourse, the Governor, accompanie­d by Mr Warner, presented the winner’s trophy at the 2019 Hobart Cup Day hosted by the Tasmanian Racing Club Inc.
