Presents (Direct from the USA) on his latest Australian tour, popular theatre organist, Ken Double. Come and hear the enticing sounds of the Wurlitzer Theatre Organ played by a master at the keyboard. Ken Double has been a favourite with Hobart audiences, on past visits. Calling all theatre lovers, performers, writers and directors across the state: Submission­s are open for OneFest, Tasmania’s longest running one act play festival. OneFest is a two day event featuring short plays of various genres, styles, and lengths across multiple sessions. Plays can be up to 30 minutes in length, and can be new or old works, but must not be excerpts from longer plays. Submission­s are open until 5pm on Friday August 30, and can be sent via post or email to to the Playhouse Theatre, 106 Bathurst St. There is a submission fee of $50 per play, with a fee of$40 for any further plays submitted by the same company.
