COMEDIAN and ABC podcast host Ange Lavoipierre, pictured, is bringing her new comedy show,
Zealot, to Hobart for the Fringe at the Edge of the World Festival 2020, from January 9-12. The show is an exploration of the onetime true believer’s memories of God — from 10-year-old evangelist to fully fledged heathen. It follows the success of her debut show, Final Form, which won a Best Comedy Weekly Award at last year’s Adelaide Fringe Festival. Lavoipierre is co-host of the ABC’s daily news and current affairs podcast, The

POPULAR Queensland acoustic pop duo Busby Marou will perform
in Tasmania next month. In 2017 Busby Marou (Thomas Busby and Jeremy Marou) hit No.1 on the ARIA album chart with Postcards From The Shell
House. The duo’s new album, The Great Divide, features Naba Norem (The Reef Song), sung in the Torres Strait Meriam Mer language. Busby Marou plays in Launceston on January 10, at Forth on January 11, and in Hobart on January 12. Bookings at oztix.com.au
