THE Tasmanian family-owned Wicked Workwear opened its doors on the first day of September 2017, and will soon be celebratin­g its 3rd birthday. Operations Manager Peter Millington has more than 50 years’ experience working in the clothing and footwear industry.

Peter started out at Cuthbertso­n’s Shoe Store, moving on to Myer Hobart and then Totally Workwear.

Peter and his team pride themselves on excellent customer service with extensive product knowledge, while providing a profession­al and friendly experience for customers.

There is a great range of workwear clothing brands in store, including FXD, King Gee, Hard Yakka, Bisley, Rainbird, DNC, Huski, Visitec and JB’s Wear.

The hi-vis range includes shirts, jumpers, jackets and beanies, complement­ed by our range of casual wear, including Levi jeans, Swanndri flannelett­e shirts and FXD socks and belts. Wicked Workwear has your wardrobe covered from head to toe.

Stocked footwear brands include Oliver, FXD, Mongrel, Blundstone and King Gee.

The business also offers embroidery and an in-house seamstress for alteration­s or repairs, expertly attended to by Eveta Keady (pictured, right), who has more than 40 years’ experience in sewing. Eveta relocated her business (Glenorchy Clothing Alteration­s and Repairs) from Glenorchy Central to join the team at Wicked Workwear. Prices start from $15 for jean hemming.

Peter and his team thank all of their loyal customers for supporting Tasmanian business and they look forward to many years ahead.
