Quarantine dodge arrest

A TASMANIAN man who allegedly dodged quarantine requirements after returning from Victoria has been arrested by police.

A manhunt had been launched for the 22-year-old Ulverstone man after he allegedly flouted the rules.

Police said the man had reentered Tasmania from Victoria on July 3, and alleged he was not at his home when police checked on July 6.

A public appeal for information was launched on Friday afternoon. Police later said the man had been arrested and would face court.
