Son beaten over condom episode

AN army veteran punched his 15-year-old son in the eye and beat him after finding out the boy wiped a stranger’s used condom on his sister when walking to school.

Southport Magistrates Court heard the man, 45, “lost his cool” and assaulted his son on March 16.

The man was ordered to serve 18 months probation with no conviction recorded.
