WELL said Greg Wells (Letters, July 3). Tasmanians in tourism and hospitality have some of the best jobs on offer. They live and work in a place that interstate and international visitors can’t wait to visit once our borders are open. They have the opportunity to greet these visitors and tell them what a great place our state is.

Their jobs are in businesses and experiences internationally recognised as the best in the industry. And Tasmanians not in tourism or hospitality meet our visitors and add to the abundant evidence our state is the place to visit.
