ST Aloysius Catholic College has been a vibrant part of the Kingborough community for 60 years.

Established by the Sisters of Charity, our college is a welcoming and inclusive community.

The Kingston Campus accommodates students from kindergarten through to Year 4, and a smooth transition process is in place as the students move to our Huntingfield Campus for Years 5-10.

We are also excited to be planning for the extension to Years 11 and 12 from 2023.

All of our staff are committed to ensuring our college is a place which nurtures and encourages the development of each and every child, enabling them to reach their potential spiritually, intellectually, culturally, physically and emotionally.

Many of our future students participate in the Birth-4 SETUP for Success program called ‘Explorers’, which provides engaging playbased family experiences, practical support for parents and an opportunity to connect with other families in our community.

Our Early Years’ classrooms are well-resourced, exciting places of learning and growth.

Children are exposed to many aspects of the Early

Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum. In particular, our kindergarten and prep classrooms embrace a playbased approach to learning across many aspects of the school day.

All classes are well supported with learning support and enrichment programs in place to respond to student needs.

Teaching staff work collaboratively to provide students with a wide range of quality learning opportunities within their classrooms and students also participate in specialist teacher lessons in physical education, music, library, science and French (Year 3 onwards).

Additionally, as a college, we understand that our students are navigating many challenges in their lives as they grow and develop and we have an established social and emotional learning inclass program to support them in managing relationships, building confidence, developing resilience and having a growth mindset.

In catering for a future generation of workers we have developed our capacity to provide rich opportunities in digital technologies and science.

The implementation of specialist science classes for prep to Year 4 students is a weekly highlight for many of our students.

St Aloysius Catholic College is a kindergarten to Year 10 Catholic coeducational College catering for students from the Kingborough area.
