‘Disco’ has all the right moves for the Pies

- MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2020 •

GLENORCHY’S Ben Kamaric produced one of the top three individual performances of the TSL season on Saturday to underline his status as one of the underrated stars of the competition.

The Pies’ reigning best-andfairest winner was sorely missed earlier in the year but his return has coincided with the Pies’ form surge and his monster effort at KGV was a major reason the side exacted revenge on Clarence.

“Disco” had 35 possessions, 10 marks, eight clearances, seven inside 50s, seven rebound 50s and kicked one goal on route to a round-high 152 player ranking points.

It was the third-highest effort recorded this season, behind Jobi Harper (174 ranking points) against the Tigers in round three and Keiran Lovell’s 153-point effort against Clarence in round five.

North Launceston superstar Brad Cox-Goodyer did a bit of everything in North’s victory against Launceston, gathering 23 touches. Jobi Harper was again the Blues’ best with 26 disposals, while Dylan Riley kicked eight goals.
