DON’T TELL THE BRIDE

In this British series, couples are given a set amount to make their wedding dreams come true, with the clincher: the groom must plan every detail of the entire wedding, with no interventions from his bride-to-be. In tonight’s episode, viewers will meet perfectionist Maria, who is placing her dream of a country house wedding in the hands of her fiancé Sam. Unfortunately for Maria, Sam loves a good prank and he kicks things off in spectacular fashion when he manages to tick off several bridesmaids by buying them all brightly coloured, short, bodycon dresses. While, they don’t find it funny, you certainly will at home. The big day turns out to be quite the sight to behold.
TWISTED LOVE
Investigation Discovery 616, 9.30pm
This new series chronicles what happens when adoration becomes obsession, taking viewers inside the most macabre crimes committed in the name of love. In tonight’s series premiere, viewers will meet Gloria Marmolejo, who did her best to raise her two boys, Manny and David, as a single mother. While the deeply religious woman taught them the difference between right and wrong, and how to be responsible young men when they started families of their own, nothing could prepare her for the shock of one of them stepping out with his underage stepsister Mariah. While she tried everything she could to keep them separated, her actions ultimately ended with disastrous consequences. Mariah’s friend Estrella Alexander (pictured) is among the talking heads.
RAISED BY WOLVES
Fox Showcase 115, 8.30pm
This new series from executive producer Ridley Scott centres around two androids named Mother (Amanda Collin, pictured) and Father (Abubakar Salim), who have been tasked to reboot the human race on a mysterious planet after the Earth was destroyed by a great war. If you’re a sci-fi aficionado, you won’t want to miss a beat of this highly anticipated outing which sees Scott (the genius behind cinematic masterpieces Blade Runner and Alien) direct the first two episodes. Raised By Wolves also stars Australia’s own Travis Fimmel in his first major role since Vikings.
