RUN YOUR OWN STABLE

- CHRIS VERNUCCIO

SUPERCOACH Racing is off and running for another spring carnival.

There are some new features to make SuperCoach Racing even more enjoyable and easier to play.

Register today and manage your own stable of equine stars for the chance to win the $10,000 grand prize as well as a $500 prize ($1000 for SuperCoach Plus subscribers) for the best team each round (Terms and Conditions apply).

The game is completely free, so challenge your mates for ultimate bragging rights.

HOW IT WORKS CREATING A STABLE

This season you need to fit eight horses and a jockey (who remains free) under your salary cap before the first round of the competition begins.

Your initial salary cap is now $1.8m – which can increase or decrease throughout the season. The performance of every horse each round will contribute points to your total and there are unlimited trades. Your stable is locked in for the round when the first race jumps.

THE SCORING SYSTEM

Your horses will receive points for finishing in the top 10 in a race.

The higher the rating of the race, the more points awarded. For example, Group 1 races are worth more than Group 2 races. The top seven scoring horses will count towards your points tally.

Nominate a “captain” who will receive double points. Jockeys earn points for every race they finish first, second or third.

PRICE CHANGES

Horses have been assigned a value based on previous form and current rating.

The cheapest horses start at $50,000 and the most expensive are $500,000.

The price of horses will increase if they finish top two in a Group 1 or win a Group 2 and Group 3, or decrease if they run bottom two in a Group 1 or last in a Group 2 and Group 3.

There must now be at least eight runners in a race for horses to drop in value.

LEAGUES

Your stable of stars will compete against all other stables in SuperCoach Racing in the race for the $10,000 major prize. Pit your stable against your mates by creating or joining up to 10 leagues.

Leagues are unlimited however there are no head-tohead “matches” like other SuperCoach games.

Instead, whoever scores the most points after eight rounds is the winner.

SUPERCOACH PLUS

SuperCoach Plus is the subscription that gives you access to additional pre-race data and analysis (anything coloured in gold on the site).

You also get access to SC Plus articles and double the weekly prize from $500 to $1000.

It also provides automated comments for all horses in every race and pre-race tips/predictions.
