Our colosseums

The year is 4024. Two tourists stand on Rosny Hill gazing down on the ancient ruins of Hobart, on either side of the river, with the mountain still standing sentinel in the background. One tourist says: “That trip to Rome last month was great but this must have been quite a place. They had two colosseums.” The other tourist replies: “Yes, but in contrast to the Romans, they only worshipped one god, an inflatable leather egg.”
